Allison Reneé Snyder
Simmons GSLIS Graduate
Hello,
my name is Allison Snyder and I'm a youth services librarian.
I have been an appreciator of librarians and all that libraries offered since I was a child. I had the benefit of living near some great local libraries and art institutions, and I love to share what I love with my patrons.
Throughout my college experience, I volunteered to re-shelve books, and at the same time, gave walk-about-reference assistance to students who needed help in the stacks. I worked hard to produce in-depth research assignments, and also realized that enjoyed helping other students with narrowing down research topics, and assisting them in conducting their research. I became inspired, later in my college career, to become a librarian.
I graduated in early May 2014 from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science program at Simmons College, in Boston, Massachusetts. I currently live in central Florida, and work as a youth services librarian in Seminole county.
Send me an email or connect with me on LinkedIn for more information!
